A TV Repair Centre for European Wholesalers Will Open in Siauliai

“Siauliu Tauro Televizoriai” (Siauliu Tauras TV) – one of Lithuania’s TV producers have signed a contract with the U.K. branch of Taiwan’s Tatung company for the establishment of a TV set and computer repair center in Siauliai, north-western Lithuania. The Repair Center will offer warranty and after warranty repair services to wholesalers all around Europe. The Centre will open in May and will be able to repair 3,000 TV sets and computer monitors per month.
Siauliu Tauro Televizoriai sold 207,000 TV sets last year and had a turnover of USD 40m. For 2001 the company has forecasted a 30% growth and plans to install 3 new production lines.
