Visa International and CyberMark signed an agreement to market the Visa Cash electronic purse with CyberMark_s campus applications.
This agreement allows Visa, Visa Member banks and CyberMark, a smart-card system provider, to provide universities with a variety of integrated services tied together on one electronic card, a joint statement said.
The electronic purse would be used for payments inside the campus, as CyberMark and its partners in the SmartWorld network would provide other uses, such as access to computers, status checking, and student voting, the companies said.
