Angela's Ashes author dies

Irish-American author Frank McCourt - who penned the Pulitzer-Prize winning memoir "Angela's Ashes" - has died.

 

An executive at his publisher Scribner says the cause of death on Sunday (July 19) was metastatic melanoma.
