If you have picked up the newly released Close Combat III: The Russian Front, youre likely already slugging it out in the trenches of the Eastern Front ground campaign. However, now you can add another dimension by taking to the skies as well as Operation Barbarossa springs to life in the game rooms of the MSN Gaming Zones Fighter Ace.Signups have already kicked off for the epic MSN Gaming Zone event, Fighter Ace: Operation Barbarossa, the latest of a series of fantastically successful historical recreations on Fighter Ace. For the first time, Fighter Ace will model the effects of attrition on opposing forces and introduce a dynamically changing battlefield. Commanders will have to change and adapt their strategies to new situations to be successful. Place your loyalties in either the Russian or German camps and find out if you really are up to the challenge. Signups close on February 19th at 12 p.m. PST. Eastern Front action between Russian and German aircraft heats up on February 21st, at noon PST.
