The exhibition of "Khayyam and Nature" was opened by French artist Kamal Serbi in Iran's Cultural House in Paris.
"The collection mostly includes the text and depth of Khayyam's quatrains and the poems are painted in colorful geometrical forms, "says the artist.
Serbi, who is a poet, believes that Khayyam's views and outlooks toward life are of great concern for the contemporary artists of the West, resembling his poems in their artworks.
Persian poet and astronomer Omar Khayyam (517 A.H.) was born in Neishabour, Khorasan Province. He is best known for his Roba'iyat (quatrains).
