Poland: "No Borders Festival" in Warsaw

The No Border Festival will take place on March 20th, 2005 at the famous "Stodola" club in Warsaw. Headlining the festival is Raekwon from the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, as well as DJ Sueside. The guest list also includes talent from all around the globe. An up and coming artist Star, representing Brooklyn, New York. Renowned producers Cilvaringz and Barracuda from the Netherlands, both of whom have worked with RZA. Salah Edin & Mohamil representing the Saudi Arabia, and DJ Tekk from Poland. The festival is being put on in order to raise cultural awareness about racism and religion. The organizer's main objective is to educate and entertain young people about the different aspects of the Hip-Hop culture. It is to show that Rap music is from the heart, and that Hip-Hop has no boundaries, it sees no color, and doesn't discriminate on the basis of age, sex, ethnicity, and religious preference. Aside from the headliners, the one day festival will also include local acts, as well speakers and poets from countries such as Angola, Morocco, and Afghanistan.
