Pope film unveils attack attempt

A documentary film based on the memoirs of the late Pope John Paul's personal aide, reveals the Pontiff was stabbed in an attempted assassination.

The present cardinal of Krakow, Stanislaw Dziwsz, was John Paul's private secretary for nearly four decades, including all of his 27 years as pope. T

 

he film, Testimony, is narrated by British actor Michael York. It comprises historical footage, and re-enactments played out by actors.
