Government of Lithuania passed in a sitting on November 4 the decision that enacted the Ministry of Health and the Lithuanian Armed Forces to arrange a shipment of humanitarian aid and for the Lithuanian Armed Forces - to ensure delivery of the shipment to the pandemic flu-struck Ukraine.
Dr. Jonas Basanavičius Military Medical Service of the Lithuanian Armed Forces enforced the decision by allocating medicines of 15 names for around 21 thousand Litas as humanitarian assistance.
Contents of the shipment to Ukraine is under the mandate of the Ministry of Health, coordination of diplomatic procedures to handover the assistance - of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Costs of the Armed Forces for the humanitarian aid will be redeemed from the Reserve Fund of the Lithuanian Government.
