Baltic Utilities X

Published: 14 July 2002 y., Sunday
From word-processing, sending and receiving emails and browsing the Internet to organising your desktop, locating documents and managing your photo and music collections - you can now do it all in Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian in the revolutionary Mac OS X! Baltic Utilities X, a software package that provides Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian language support for computers running the new Macintosh OSX operating system, has been released by DekSoft. The program, already available for earlier Macintosh systems and for Windows-based computers, allows for use of Baltic fonts in word processing, e-mail, Internet and other software, according to Arnis Gross, founder of DekSoft. Built-in Unicode support allows users to share Baltic documents and e-mails with Windows users, Gross said. Baltic Utilities X was produced with the help of a Lithuanian design and development team including 14-year-old Aidas Dailide.
