One of Latvia's chief foreign policy goals is to join NATO. The American Latvian Association and the World Federation of Free Latvians have taken up the lobbying campaign in the United States by starting a Web site to focus attention on the issue and to convince NATO to broaden its membership. The site includes news about NATO expansion plus a list of the "top ten" reasons for NATO expansion.
