Published: 2 July 2014 y., Wednesday

Google Docs now offers its users with the option of editing all types of Microsoft Office. Its cloud-based platform also allows you to edit and share files directly from Google Drive, Gmail or from your Chromebook, where the extension is pre-installed.

There's also a new ‘Suggested Edit’ mode that tracks collaborators suggestions in documents and users can decide to accept or reject them along the way.  Its ‘Suggested Edits’ in Google Docs has already been added on web and will soon be added to  mobile apps.

One can even view, create and share documents, spreadsheets and presentations on both mobile devices and the desktop. As per official reports, users can even edit even in its offline mode. Google claimed that the introduction of this new feature has added up to 190 million active users, as per official reports.
