It is possible to expect that by the end of this year there will be over one million Internet users in Croatia. Thus, the number of those who will have the access to the Internet should climb by 28.5 percent in comparison to last year, according to the Croatian branch of the global analytical company IDC.
After conducting an analysis of the Croatian Internet space, the IDC Croatia forecast that 1,014,000 Croatians would use the Internet by the end of this year as against some 789,000 registered users in the end of 2002.
The share of Internet users in the entire Croatian population would thus increase from 18 to 22.9 percent.
