Minicomputer the size of USB drive has been developed

David Braben, the founder of  Frontier Developments from Great Britain, has developed a small and very cheap computer "Raspberry pi.

The impressive device is as big as a USB drive. It has a 700 MHz "ARM11" processor and 128 MB of RAM. The operating system, applications and user data can be stored in an SD / MMC memory cards.

The computer runs with Linux operating system . "Raspberry Pi" mini computer has  HDMI and USB inputs. Developer claims that the potential of such minicomputers is sufficient for ordinary tasks, including video viewing.

For the promotion of his computer David Braben established an organization called "Pi Foundation. It is believed that because of its low price, which reaches only 25 dollars, the device may be of interest to educational institutions of developing countries.
