Tilde's Internet Dictionary

English-Latvian-English base dictionary (http://www.tilde.lv/) contains 41 802 English words, 29 947 English expressions and 86 442 Latvian words. It is based on English-Latvian Dictionary, published by "Jana seta" in 1995 (compiled by Z.Balzeja, L.Jurka, R.Mozere, J.Raskevics and A.Treilons). Dictionary of Geographic Terms contains 730 terms. Dictionary of Abbreviations contains 970 English abbreviations with explanations. Dictionary of Computer Terms, developed by Informatics Subcommittee of Terminology Committee, Latvian Academy of Sciences, contains 4200 words.
