A new Lithuanian Honorary Consul in Ukraine starts his duties

Viktor Popov started his duties as a new Lithuanian Honorary Consul in Ukraine. On 8 October, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine he obtained his .

V.Popov is appointed to exercise consular functions in the consular district of Kherson and Nikolaev.

During the ceremony, Lithuanian Honorary Consul stressed, that he was grateful for the honour conferred on him. He also declared his readiness to contribute to a better mutual understanding, development of economic and cultural relations between strategic partners - Lithuania and Ukraine.

The residence of Honorary Consul V.Popov, who is also a businessman, is established in the city of Kherson.

V.Popov is the fifth Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Ukraine. Lithuanian Honorary Consuls in Ukraine work in Lviv, Simferopol, Donetsk and Zitomir.
