"If 5-7 rebel leaders are not eliminated, the situation in Chechnya will be aggravated," former Interior Minister, a deputy of the Russian State Duma, Army General Anatoly Kulikov announced in an exclusive interview with RBC.

In his opinion, it could be done by a joint special and army operation. All law enforcement agencies should participate in the operation and especially special units of the Main Intelligence Department. According to Kulikov, international terrorism "has strong positions in Chechnya." This is proved by large amounts of counterfeit dollars printed in Chechnya and neighboring regions.
"Wars can't be ordered to stop. The Chechen war is swallowing up people and there is a big probability that it will envelope the entire south of Russia," Kulikov noted.
