BELARUS, SUDAN SIGN ECONOMIC ACCORDS

Belarusian President Lukashenka and Sudanese President Omar Hasan Ahmad al-Bashir signed an agreement on trade, investment, and scientific cooperation in Minsk on 28 July, Belapan reported. The sides also signed a protocol on cooperation in power generation, industry, and trade. "The president of Sudan stressed that his country is in need of advanced technologies and new industrial facilities," Lukashenka said, adding that Belarus is ready to supply Sudan with agricultural machinery, various industrial equipment and chemical fertilizers.
