Prime Minister Leaves for Visit in Moscow.

Lithuanian Prime Minister Rolandas Paksas leaves for Moscow for a visit expected to result in an agreement over long-term trade in oil and speeding-up of ratification process of Russian-Lithuanian border agreement in the State Duma, all the dailies reported. The premier leaves for the Russian capital believing that eight out of the 9 prepared agreements will be successfully signed. The visit of the Prime Minister had been prepared for the long time and with difficulties, having no precise date in sight. Paksas visit was also discussed by President Valdas Adamkus and Seimas Chairman Vytautas Landsbergis. Landsbergis said on the eve of the trip that Paksas visit was a very important one suggesting it could make bilateral relations between the two countries better.
