British Prime Minister Tony Blair says he is working hard to try to find a way to disclose the details of an IRA arms hand-over which has stalled the Northern Ireland peace process. Unionists rejected the militant group's latest act of weapons decommissioning on Tuesday saying it was not transparent enough. Hoever, Ulster Unionist leader, David Trimble, has said he is still optimistic that the political process can recover. He also has asked the prime minister to put the information in the public domain. IRA's political wing, Sinn Fein, has called on Blair to make a statement saying the IRA was in full complicance with the decommissioning scheme, after the group announced it had put a significant amount of weapons beyond use. Unionists want the end of all IRA paramilitary activity and a so-called "credible decommissioning act" before they will reconsider sharing power with the Republicans again.
