"Erection of this wall ressembles all the evil things in our human nature... Erecting walls, creating ghettos is not the way to the future," he said in Warsaw after a meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Wlodzimierz Cimoszewicz. "That's why we have to speak out against it."
Cimoszewicz said he shared Sheikh Mohammad's "pessimism" about the Middle East.
Palestinians see construction of the barrier, which cuts in several places deep into Palestinian territory in the West Bank, as a bid by Israel to fix the boundaries of any future two-state settlement.
Israel insists it is trying to stop Palestinian militants crossing into its territory to carry out attacks.
Kuwait's foreign minister was speaking on his first visit to Poland, a trip to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two countries.
