Lithuania strongly supporte Georgia's territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic integration goals

On 26 November in Vilnius, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vygaudas Ušackas met with Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia David Bakradze, who is on a visit to Lithuania.

According to the Minister, Lithuania strongly supports and will continue to support Georgia’s territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic integration goals.

During the meeting, Minister V.Ušackas stressed the importance of reforms and encouraged Georgia to benefit from the possibilities that open up in its relations with the European Union: the Eastern Partnership initiative and the Association Agreement.

Head of Lithuania’s diplomacy welcomed Georgia on the initialling of the visa facilitation agreement with the EU.

On 27-28 November, D.Bakradze is participating in the 28th session of the Baltic Assembly.

During his visit to Lithuania, the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament plans to meet with President Dalia Grybauskaitė, Speaker of the Seimas (Parliament) Irena Degutienė and other representatives of the Parliament.
