On 20 November, Lithuania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Lithuanian business confederation | ICC Lithuania will host a seminar “Business in sub-Saharan Africa: Possibilities and Challenges”.
Bilateral relations between Lithuania and sub-Saharan African countries, current regimes of the European Union’s trade with African countries, possibilities for financing business and cultural differences will be discussed at the seminar. The Lithuanian businessmen, who have business ties with African countries, will share their experience.
Africa is the second largest (after Asia) continent with 800 million inhabitants. Therefore, the discussions aim to address questions like these: why this impressive market has not yet been well explored by the Lithuanian businessmen, what kind of opportunities the market presents and what challenges businessmen will face there.
Lithuanian businessmen, who encouraged to organize the seminar, had paid attention to this market and made the first business steps in Nigeria, Guinea, South Africa and Rwanda.
