On 29 September, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs V. Ušackas bade farewell to outgoing Ambassador of Turkey to Lithuania Oguz Ozge and thanked him for the contribution to the development of Lithuanian and Turkish political, economic and cultural relations.
On 29 September, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vygaudas Ušackas bade farewell to outgoing Ambassador of Turkey to Lithuania Oguz Ozge and thanked him for the contribution to the development of Lithuanian and Turkish political, economic and cultural relations.
Minister V.Ušackas stressed that Turkey was the foreign country that Lithuanian tourists visit most frequently, and expressed hope that visa-free regime will soon be introduced for Lithuanian citizens who travel to Turkey.
“I hope that Lithuania and Turkey will be even more related by the fact, that Istanbul succeeds Vilnius as the new European Capital of Culture in 2010”, Minister V. Ušackas said.
