On 9 August, Daiva Valerija Čekanauskas-Navarrette started her duties as the new Lithuania’s Honorary Consul in the United States.
The new honorary consul will represent Lithuania in the consular district of the State of California.
D.V.Čekanauskas-Navarrette holds a diploma in economics and international management from the University of California, she has many years of experience in the field of investment and financial markets , she also belongs to the National Organization of Investment Professionals (NOIP), and many structures of the U.S. Lithuanian community.
D.V.Čekanauskas-Navarrette has graduated from St.Casimir’s Lithuanian School in Los Angeles. She is actively involved in the Lithuanian community, speaks both Lithuanian and English.
The new honorary consul succeeds her late father, Vytautas Čekanauskas, Lithuania’s long-time Honorary Consul-General in Los Angeles.
