In the finishing ceremony together with ANP graduates Chief of Staff of the Lithuanian-led Chaghcharan PRT-10 Lt. Col. Artūras Jasinskas, representative of the US State Department Brian Roraff, Head of Security Forces Advisory Team of the US Land Force operating in 1st Lt. Renardo Jones, and other guests appeared.

Twelve high officers of Afghan National Police attended a week-long course, Chief of Police of Ghowr Brig. Gen. Abdul Baqi Nooristani, heads of provincial Operations Management Centre, Response Forces, and Counter-terrorism Division, and other persons in charge of security in the region among them.

 Members of PRT gave graduates presents for remembrance.

 „The training is intended not only to provide professional knowledge but also to raise professional ethics of local policemen - a factor expected to counter influence of personal and tribal interest in daily work of provincial police ", commented Lt. Col. A. Jasinskas on significance of training.

 „The present training is a part of long-term Afghan National Police training plan", said Advisor for Education of EUPOL team in Ghowr Vytaras Ratkevičius. „In future we foresee conducting courses for chief police officers in provincial capital and regions ". According to V. Ratkevičius, in future EUPOL plans organising courses for police training instructors and criminal police investigators.

Various courses on regular basis are also organised for Afghan Police by Ghowr PRT and Advisory Team of the US Security Forces.

EUPOL mission were representatives of Lithuanian police also participate was launched in Afghanistan in 2007. EUPOL is headquartered in capital of Afghanistan Kabul, and international EUPOL teams operate in eighteen provinces including Ghowr. EUPOL team of Ghowr - two Lithuanian and one Romanian police officer - is established in PRT camp. Members of the mission conduct tasks of advisory character, and organise training.

Lithuanian-led PRT headquartered in Chaghcharan, the capital city of Ghowr, took up responsibility for security in the province in June 2005. PRT is a joint military-civilian mission operating under International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).Its main task is to help Afghan Central Government extend its authority in the province, and to ensure security and environment for civilian activities.

Together with around 150 of Lithuanian military and civilian personnel representatives of Denmark, Georgia, Japan, the USA, Croatia, Romania, and Ukraine, including Lithuanian Special Mission, United States Department of Defence, and USAID, work in Ghowr. PRT-10 currently providing security in Ghowr is formed on the basis of the 1st Territorial Unit of the NDVF Dainava Military District.
