Lithuania will be visited by the President of the Republic of Poland Mr. Lech Kaczyński who arrives with a delegation Wednesday evening, 15 April, on a one-day state visit.

Thursday morning, 16 April, will begin with an official welcoming ceremony of the President of Poland, to be followed by a meeting of the two presidents to discuss bilateral relations, possibilities for the implementation of energy projects in the region, and the Eastern Neighbourhood Policy.
In the Antakalnis Cemetery, the President of Poland will lay a wreath at the Memorial to Those Killed in the Struggle for Independence, to give honour to their memory. President Kaczyński will also visit the Rasos Cemetery to lay a wreath at the memorial to Polish soldiers.
Later in the day, the Polish leader will have lunch with Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius and a meeting with Speaker of the Seimas Arūnas Valinskas.
In the evening, President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus and Mrs. Alma Adamkienė will host dinner on the occasion of the state visit of President Lech Kaczyński and Mrs. Maria Kaczyńska in Vilnius.
Thursday night, the Polish President and the delegation depart to Warsaw.
