Prime Minister’s Greetings to New Latvian Prime Minister

Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius sent a telegram with greetings to new Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis.

A. Kubilius feels confident that the Latvian Prime Minister‘s extensive experience in the public service will help him cope with big challenges in this important and challenging post.

“Political, economic and cultural ties between our countries are intense as never before, challenges we face are the same, therefore, our countries are destined to walk a common path. I am convinced that relations between Lithuania and Latvia will continue to develop in a dynamic and diverse way. I am sure that our countries will further expand their fruitful cooperation on bilateral level as well as in the European and NATO context”, the telegram says.

Wishing on behalf of the Lithuanian Government and on his own behalf successful and efficient work to the Latvian Government, Andrius Kubilius invited V. Dombrovskis to come for an official visit to Lithuania.
