The Russian-German summit consultations have resulted in important intergovernmental agreements and commercial contracts signed.
During the Russian-German consultations, a working program has been adopted to implement the September 9, 2004 Joint Declaration by Vladimir Putin and Gerhard Schroeder on cooperation in combating international terrorism.
Russian warplane manufacturer Irkut and German company Airbus Deutschland have signed a contract on component part supply.
The Russian Railways company and the Siemens corporation have made a deal on high-speed train development and manufacture.
The Russian and German transport ministers have signed a Joint Declaration on Cooperation between the Russian Ministry of Transport and Germany's Federal Ministry of Transportation and Construction.
They have also signed a joint declaration on specific aspects of cooperating in maritime search and rescue and marine environmental pollution prevention.
In addition, the two governments have signed an agreement in the sphere of youth cooperation.
