A round table on Kazakhstan was held in London in the prestigious political center of the Institute of Economic Relations with participation of Kazakhstani President’s Advisor Yermukhamet Yertysbayev.
The Advisor did a detailed reporting on the current economic and political situation in Kazakhstan, particularly the successful implementation of market reform, priorities of further economic and political liberalization and emphasized important geopolitical and energetic role of Kazakhstan.
The roundtable was attended by competent audience of economists, political scholars, parliamentarians, and mass media and passed in the atmosphere of interested exchange of opinions and estimations of the first decade of Kazakhstan’s development.
During the meeting Kazakhstani Embassy presented the text of the recent Message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan.
As a part of the visit Yermukhamet Yertysbayev took part in the presentation of the book published in Great Britain under the editorship of famous expert on Central Asia Shirin Akiner titled “Caspian: Policy, Energy and Security”.
