Protocols finalizing talks on Russia's accession to the World Trade Organizations have been signed with Chile, South Korea and Taiwan.
These documents were signed during Russian Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref's visit to Chile to attend a session of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation organization, the ministry's press service told Interfax.
Russia has finalized similar negotiations with more than 15 WTO members, including the EU and China. Documents signed after these talks will open the markets of Russia and these countries to each other's products. Russia has yet to finalize similar talks with 46 countries and sign bilateral agreements with the United States, Japan, Canada and a number of other nations.
Maxim Medvedkov, head of the Russian delegation at negotiations on Russia's WTO accession, has announced plans to finish all bilateral talks by next summer.
