French Vote on EU Constitution "Before Summer"

The referendum in France on the European Union Constitution will take place "before summer", the French President Jacques Chirac said. In a national address broadcast late Friday, Chirac said: 'In 2005, you will have the future of this Europe in your hands.' Previously, Chirac had promised a decision on the date for a vote in spring.
