Slovenia backs Lithuania for NATO, EU.

After a meeting with his Slovenian counterpart, Milan Kucan, Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus told journalists that Slovenia will support Lithuania_s bid to join both the European Union and NATO. Slovenia, along with Estonia, is one of the six "fast track" countries already negotiating with the EU. It has also been mentioned, along with Lithuania and sometimes Romania, as a front-runner for the next round of NATO expansion.
