President of the Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev at a press-conference in Moscow stated that anti-terrorist coalition did not turn to Kazakhstan requesting to allow deployment of troops in the Kazakh territory.
"We have stated that we shall support anti-terrorist operations by all means and if such a request will be rendered to us we shall consider it favorably" - stated President. Kazakh President considers establishment of government on a broad basis under the UN auspices as the main task of Afghanistan. "Such government must make territory of Afghanistan open. We need to deal with rehabilitation of Afghani economy. We are interested in Afghanistan as a transit country for us" - stated President.
