Ukraine's President to visit Lithuania

Tomorrow, 9 December, Ukraine's President Viktor Yushchenko is coming to Lithuania for a one-day working visit.

President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus and Ukraine's leader will discuss bilateral economic, political and cultural relations, issues of regional importance, and euro-atlantic cooperation. After the meeting, the presidents will sign the Roadmap for Development of the Strategic Partnership between Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania for 2009-2010.

Later in the day, the Lithuanian and Ukrainian leaders will give a press conference, to be followed by a working lunch hosted by President Adamkus.

In the afternoon, Ukraine's President will have a meeting with Lithuania's Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius.

President Yushchenko goes back to Kiyv later in the evening.
