A project implemented by a company “ASHBURN International” shall ensure smoother management of e-payments

Published: 27 December 2013 y., Friday

UAB “ASHBURN International” (“ASHBURN”) has implemented a project “Integrated Solution for the Management of E-payment Services” (“ePaySManager”) in accordance with a measure “Intelektas LT” of the Economic Growth Action Programme “Research and Technological Development for the Growth of Economic Competitiveness and Economy”. During the implementation of the project that took more than two years, the company has developed solutions in the field of innovative e-payments management, which include the development of the existing technological measures and new service models, and the smooth operation of these solutions was tested by means of prototypes prepared by “ASHBURN”.

Having analyzed the international practice and with a help of cutting-edge solutions, specialists of “ASHBURN” have performed a number of applied research procedures: software standardization of „TransLink.iQ Manager“ (TMS, Terminal Management System) and „TransLink.iQ Switch“ (FMS, Financial Management Systems), cryptographic key management, development of technological tools for the management of electronic payments, integration of TMS and customer relationship management (CRM) modules, etc. Using the data obtained, specialists of “ASHBURN” have developed universal prototypes that are already being employed in the company’s activities, and will be developed and commercialized in the future.

“New prototypes developed by “ASHBURN” allow for both standardizing e-payments and dealing with highly relevant security issues. Prototype for the management of cryptographic keys for the operation distribution helps to ensure even greater data protection and avoid human factor-related security problems, which in turn contributes to customer loyalty and stronger corporate image. Standardized software prototype for TMS and FMS provides opportunities to employ payment management systems in any sector and easily adapt them to any type of equipment. Moreover, it ensures smooth and expeditious operation”, says Director of the Department of Finance of “ASHBURN” and the Project Manager Rolandas Budriūnas.

Prototype solution “ePaySManager” developed by “ASHBURN” is innovative in terms of its service provision model and from technological point of view. The new system allows processing of all information about e-payments in real time, whereas data obtained from the analysis can be used to make decisions related to the maintenance of payment infrastructure and to improve the quality of e-payment services provided.

The total value of the project implementation exceeded 2 million litas: nearly half of the funds was invested by the company “ASHBURN” (LTL 0.9 million) and the remaining amount (more than LTL 1 million) was allocated by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
