BS/2 organized the Cash Expert Seminar 2025

Published: 29 September 2025 y., Monday

On September 18, the international Cash Expert Seminar 2025 took place in Tashkent, focusing on modern cash-handling technologies. The event was organized by BS/2 and gathered representatives from 21 banks, the Central Bank, and the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan.

Kirill Ovsyannikov, Deputy CEO for Strategic Development at BS/2, emphasized the importance of such professional gatherings:

“BS/2 has already made events like the Cash Expert Seminar a tradition. We see strong demand from Uzbek banks for increased efficiency in cash operations. Despite the rapid growth of digital services, cash circulation in the economy continues to rise. Effective management of this process requires automation and the implementation of modern multifunctional equipment. Participation by more than twenty banks confirms that financial-sector professionals recognize the need to adopt advanced technologies to improve customer service.”

The seminar devoted special attention to the development of multicurrency services on self-service devices. Participants learned about the experiences of Ipak Yuli Bank and Kapitalbank, which are actively upgrading their ATMs with BS/2 solutions. Attendees also saw demonstrations of Diebold Nixdorf DN Series devices, which support operations with multiple currencies and provide customers with a wide range of services in a “mini-branch” format.

BS/2 presented the updated Cash Management.iQ system and the Cash Processing.iQ module. These solutions enable accurate cash-demand forecasting, optimize cash-in-transit routes, monitor cash counting, and reduce operating costs. Additionally, the company introduced a solution for automatic cassette data entry that shortens cash-in-transit processing time by an average of 20% and eliminates manual input errors.

A dedicated program block focused on security and new equipment for cash centers. Sargent & Greenleaf showcased electronic locks with three-factor authentication, while participants tested modern sorting systems designed to enhance productivity and cash-processing quality.

Cash Expert Seminar 2025 clearly demonstrated that Uzbekistan’s banking sector is ready for the large-scale adoption of innovative cash-management technologies.
