The BS/2 company, a successful player in the banking technology market and the retail sector, expands into new geographic areas. In late 2012, after successful negotiations, BS/2 established business relations with BSI Technology Infrastructure Development, a Vietnamese company.

A relatively new IT company, BSI has been present in the Vietnamese market since 2007. The company specializes in supplying banking hardware and software and providing outsourcing services for the banking sector. In the last three years, the company has brought over 2,000 ATMs onto the Vietnamese market, becoming Vietnam's leader in this area.

BSI's customers have already had a chance to try out the benefits of the ATMeye.iQ solution. And early this year BS/2's representatives visited Vietnam to discuss issue related further cooperation between the two companies.

Says Denis Korobkov, BS/2's head of Software Sales: “The Vietnamese market looks very promising. At present, only 14,000 ATMs have been installed in Vietnam, a country with over 90 million people. We plan to increase this number to 40,000 in the near future. And, as the number of ATMs grows, so will the need for software.”

During their meetings with BSI's top managers and technical specialists, BS/2's representatives discussed the possibility to introduce, onto the Vietnamese market, other products from the .iQ family, such as Service Desk.iQ, a hardware management and maintenance system, Cash Logistics.iQ, a cash flow management system, and others.

BS/2, part of the Penki Kontinentai Group, operates in 17 countries around the world: Lithuania, Georgia, Estonia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Armenia, Mongolia, and others. Among BS/2's customers are the largest Russian, Central and Eastern European banks, African banks, other emerging markets around the world, and the largest European financial institutions.
