BasisBank improves ATM Cash Planning with Cash Management.iQ

Published: 27 November 2020 y., Friday

Georgian BasisBank has implemented the cash flow management and forecasting software Cash Management.iQ. One of the benefits of cash management software is decreased operational costs associated with the ATM network. Cash professionals of the bank are equipped with real-time cash monitoring tools to manage the amount of CIT visits as well as cash inventory and ATM availability KPIs.

This software solution has already been successfully operating in the bank’s infrastructure for 3 months. Cash Management.iQ helps BasisBank to simplify the cash management process, by assisting in carrying out and optimizing cash planning and cash distribution across its self-service terminals. For now, about 70 ATMs are connected to the system.

“Cash Management.iQ software solution provides us with information about cash balances in ATM’s in real-time, which allows us to more accurately plan the time of cash collection and the optimal cash amount for ATMs, as well as reduce logistics costs,” says Giorgi Makatsaria, Head of Treasury Department of BasisBank.

It’s remarkable, that BS/2 provides bank with cash monitoring tools on a SaaS model to guarantee access to the top-notch cash supply chain optimization technology for this middle-size financial institution. It helps minimize initial investment and build a transparent amortization schedule for the solution.

“We are welcome BasisBank to join the Cash Management.iQ family. The interest in self-service channel optimization is huge because the ATM fleet plays a big role in banking services. Thanks to our customer-centric approach, we provided the best conditions for the banks that already use BS/2 professional services and ATM video surveillance solution ATMeye.iQ. We are sure that our partnership with the bank will help increase the operational efficiency of the BasisBank ATM fleet”, says Andrej Smirnov, CEO of BS/2 Georgia.

BasisBank became the 4th bank in Georgia that has adopted Cash Management.iQ software platform. The solution provides an opportunity to build and maintain cost-effective cash supply chain management. Five independent modules of the platform help handle cash logistics processes across cash points, cash centers, and CIT companies.
