Children Draw Family Values

Published: 30 January 2015 y., Friday

A Lithuanian PoliPRO NGO active in disseminating information about missing people as well as helping to search them held the children's drawing competition, A Steady Family As A Homeland Cornerstone, for the second time already. The submitted drawings had to reflect the idea that you cannot give your relatives and your home country away, but keep ties with your family and your home always and everywhere just because if anyone is missing it is very difficult for the relatives to locate him or her.

The project's organizers proudly claim that the contest is of current interest to the public. This year more than 800 works were submitted. The authors of the best drawings were awarded with books on art, painting sets, educational literature. Also children's homes which took the most active part in the competition got special prizes - photo albums "Amber Lithuania".

Penki Kontinentai Group which has always enthusiastically backed important social initiatives also offered its prizes, such as a book on chess, a wall calendar, and the like. PenkiTV studio producer Julija Usova took part in drawings' evaluation. "It's nice that for the second time already we could back the children's drawing contest. We believe it should help to attract people's attention to such basic values as family and homeland. We've got quite a lot of great and powerful works, and we hope this contest would become a nice annual tradition reminding us of what's really important is valuable. We wish all contest participants unfading inspiration and new creative success", Julija said.

A detailed video footage as well as interview with PoliPRO vice president Viktorija Ziliuk is available on PenkiTV channel.
