Christmas Celebration for Children at the Penki Kontinentai Office

Published: 3 January 2025 y., Friday

Ahead of Christmas, the central office of the Penki Kontinentai Group in Vilnius was filled with children's laughter, curious questions, and a festive atmosphere.

How is logistics connected to logic? How does fiber optic work underground, and where do all the cables go? Can an ATM guess your mood? And can a payment terminal be used as a camera?

These and many other questions were asked by the curious children of the company’s employees. For many years, Penki Kontinentai has maintained the tradition of inviting the children of their employees and colleagues to festive events held at the office before Christmas.

This year, employees from various departments actively participated in the celebration. PENKI network engineers showed how the internet "lives" in a "box" and demonstrated a glowing fiber optic cable. Sales managers talked about virtual clouds and FLEXI TV. BS/2 specialists presented modern ATMs with biometric features that recognized children's smiles. At ASHBURN International, the children were amazed to learn that modern payment terminals, which combine the functions of a cashier and card reader, can also take photos!

After a tour of the office, the children were in for a surprise: they found a treasure of chocolate coins in the accounting department and then met Santa Claus with gifts. The roles of the elves and Santa Claus were played by Penki Kontinentai employees. Two colleagues, passionate about 3D printing, prepared original 3D toys for children.

Such events are not only a joyful celebration for children but also an important way to strengthen the corporate spirit. The children get the opportunity to learn more about their parents' work and discover the world of technology and professions. For parents, it’s a chance to share their daily lives with their families, and for colleagues, it helps to strengthen friendly bonds. This interaction creates a warm and friendly atmosphere where not only work achievements but also family values are cherished.
