EcoVadis Sustainability Silver Rating Is BS/2 Quality Mark

Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2), a member of the Penki Kontinentai Group, has been awarded silver status by EcoVadis in recognition of its performance in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility. The rating demonstrates the company's compliance with high international standards in the field of sustainable development. More than 75,000 companies are part of the EcoVadis network and work together to evaluate, collaborate and improve global sustainability among companies.

“The balance between economic, environmental, and social development is important for a successful business. EcoVadis Silver Rating is our quality mark, relevant for increasing the level of trust between business partners, the reputation in the market, and the strategy for further development of the company” says Tomas Augucevičius, Deputy General Director of BS/2.

Every year, the BS/2 score increases. According to the results for 2019-2020, the company is in the top 5% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Wholesale of computers, computer peripheral equipment, and the software industry.

“The effective tool for improving the performance of EcoVadis shows the company areas for further development and indicators improvement. Respect for people and the environment along with sustainable development are at the core of the activities of the Penki Kontinentai Group”, says Loreta Valinčienė, BS/2 Project Manager.

The COVID-19 pandemic has focused BS/2 attention on team and customer health and has accelerated the introduction of innovative technologies in the Group. In addition to financial support to Lithuanian funds for the purchase of necessary medical equipment, automatic hand sanitizer dispensers were installed in several medical institutions free of charge, and the stationary temperature detection terminal in Vilnius Municipality.
