BakuTel 2011 the largest telecommunication exhibition in the Caspian and Caucasus regions, will be held in the Azerbaijan's capital Baku, from 23 to 26 November. This international event is organized by the company Iteca Caspian LLC and its partner in the Great Britain ITE Group PLC. A general sponsor of this year’s exhibition is Microsoft Corporation. BakuTel 2011 will be opened by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.,

It is already the 17th time, when the BakuTel Exhibition will bring together under one roof representatives of the largest telecommunications and information technology companies, including such world-renowned companies as Microsoft, HP, Nokia Siemens Networks, Alcatel-Lucent Teletas, Huawei Technologies Investment Co Ltd., and others. It is expected that the exhibition will be attended by over 250 companies from 29 countries worldwide.

Traditionally, the event will be attended by the representatives of BS/2 Company, which belongs to the group of companies Penki Kontinentai. The company specializes in the development of the software solutions designed for banking and retail sector, as well as in the hardware supply and maintenance.

In the course of this years’ exhibition the BS/2 Company will introduce CINEO - a new self-service equipment line created by the Wincor Nixdorf Company. The main advantages of the CINEO ATMs are the following: faster transaction processing and innovative banknote recognition technology. In order to increase security, the new security features (including a module providing protection against data theft) were installed into the CINEO product line. In addition, all ATMs belonging to the CINEO family of products support Cash Recycling Technology (cash recycling possibility). 

Another innovation, which will be presented by the BS/2 Company, is a software solution Payment.iQ designed for self-service equipment. This solution allows extending the functionality of the equipment, cost saving, and optimizing the activities of the financial institutions. Anyone visiting the company's stand will be provided with the opportunity to become acquainted with the practical application of such products as ATMeye.iQ, ServiceDesk.iQ, SmartSafe.iQ, and evaluate their strengths.

At the forthcoming exhibition, the other products presented by the Penki Kontinentai group of companies will be also available, i.e. payment and loyalty system PayLo and interactive TV services package for IPTV - IPTV.IQ.

During the Exhibition BakuTel 2011, the BS/2 specialists will meet their longstanding partners - the representatives of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, Kapital Bank, Express Bank, AGbank and other companies in order to share the experience of recent projects and to discuss their further cooperation.

No less important for the BS/2 Company is the opening of its BSKom subsidiary, which will be also announced to the participants and visitors of the BakuTel 2011 Exhibition. The main activity of the BSKom Company is provision of maintenance services and sharing of work experience gained in other markets.

At the BakuTel 2011 Exhibition, a new project SmartZone will be presented for the first time. The main aim of this project is to provide opportunity to young professionals to exhibit their developments and ideas together with the experienced companies.  According to the BS/2 representative Jevgenij Žuljev, BakuTel annually provides access to a variety of innovative products and this is the uniqueness and importance of this event.

The BakuTel Exhibition is held annually since 1995. Last year it was attended by 112 exhibitors, and the event has been visited by 12,000 people.
