In Riga: ATMIA training sessions and focus on ATM security

Published: 2 June 2011 y., Thursday

On 7–8 June this year, ATMIA, the ATM Industry Association, is arranging training sessions focussing on ATM security. Invited to participate in these sessions will be specialists and managers of banks and financial institutions and organisations responsible for ATM security strategies and crime prevention.

Function participants will find out more about the most common methods of ATM fraud, methods of combatting it and security measures. They will hear experts’ reports and will have the opportunity to share their experience with other training participants and specialists.

The leading international banking technology company BS/2, which has been an ATMIA Board member since 2001 and a constant participant at the association’s conferences and training sessions, will be presenting the smart video monitoring and conflict management solution ATMeye.iQ. This is a totally new way of ensuring the security of equipment. It helps to optimise running costs and to reduce the risk of fraud and vandalism.  It also helps to lower the cost of resolving conflicts that arise with the users of self-service equipment.

ATMIA was established in the USA in 1997 with the goal of stimulating the rapid proliferation of ATMs. Among ATMIA members there are ATM manufacturers and distributors, financial organisations, private individuals and companies that provide service and consultations.

The BS/2 Company, which is a member of the Penki kontinentai group of companies, has been operating successfully for more than 15 years in the banking technology and retail trading sectors. Its products are available either directly or through partners in 17 countries.
