Today opens the international exhibition “Wincor World 2014” organized in Rheda-Wiedenbrueck, Germany, by a leading developer of banking products “Wincor Nixdorf” and focusing on banking and retail trade sectors. Lithuania shall be represented by the members of a group of companies “Penki kontinentai”: “Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos“ (“BS/2”) and “ASHBURN International” (“ASHBURN”).

This year’s stand of the Lithuanian company shall offer the visitors of “Wincor World 2014” an opportunity to take a look at IT solutions developed by “BS/2”: “.iQ” family products and “Mobile^.iQ” platform designed for operations involving mobile devices. Live broadcast from the “BS/2” stand shall be available after the exhibition opens.

According to Director of the Sales Department of “BS/2” Paulius Bučelis, “Wincor World” exhibition is an opportunity to get acquainted with IT innovations for banking and retail trade sectors as well as to introduce one’s own products to the market. “We are going to present “.iQ” family products to the visitors of the exhibition. These include the latest version 1.1.4 of “ATMeye^.iQ” solution for the protection of self-service devices and updated “Service Desk^.iQ” solution for the maintenance of banking and retail trade equipment. Moreover, we are going to offer a set of mobile solutions "Mobile^.iQ" that meets modern-day needs of the market and ensures even more expeditious and smooth operation of hardware", says P. Bučelis.

“ASHBURN International” shall introduce to the visitors of the exhibition a centralized management system for payment terminals “TransLink^.iQ Manager” as well as payment and loyalty management platform “PayLo”.

The company “BS/2” representing Lithuania in the exhibition for the thirteenth consecutive year is a golden member of “Wincor Nixdorf”. Successful cooperation of these companies that has lasted for nearly 20 years has received a number of awards. At a meeting of partners of “Wincor Nixdorf” that took place in Germany at the end of 2013, a product of “BS/2” “Payments^.iQ” was recognized the Best Banking Solution of 2012/2013, and successful activities of a subsidiary “BS/2 Latvija” of “BS/2” were identified as the Best Banking Service of 2012/2013.

International exhibition “Wincor World” is organized by a German company “Wincor Nixdorf” as of 2001. In the exhibition “Wincor World 2014”, IT specialists will be able to take a closer look at more than 500 new products developed for banking and retail trade sectors. The event shall also include a symposium, where more than 50 IT experts from all over the world will give their presentations, as well as seminars and round-table discussions, offering visitors of the exhibition an opportunity to take a closer look at business model transformation strategies and future IT development concepts.

In 2012, the event was visited by 7 thousand visitors from more than 90 countries. This year’s exhibition will continue until January 23.
