Let the entire world know about your event: part I, getting ready for the event

Published: 13 April 2015 y., Monday

All organizers hope that their event will attract as many visitors as possible, but can you make the event open not only to the people in the venue, but also to those outside it? Nothing is impossible nowadays!

Internet and mobile connection make it possible to visit events while physically being in a distant location. Smart phones brought with them absolute freedom: to watch an event, you no longer need to sit by a TV set or computer screen. You simply have to make use of all these new tools.

First, plan carefully, what the event will be, where and how it will take place.  Identify your audience: who is the event for and why. Then, let your audience know about the event. You can write promotional articles, print and distribute fliers, hang out promotional posters. However, the most effective way to introduce the event is promotional video. It will reach the future visitor of the event through auditory and visual channels and through speech. A two-minute clip is enough to catch the visitor's attention.

When making an introductory clip for the event, pay attention to the following factors:

  • which aspect of the event could attract the attention of the future visitor, in other words, what will be the staple of the event;
  • what would be the best venue to introduce the event;
  • what interesting/famous person could invite people to the event.

When the clip is finished, it is most convenient to publish it on a social network and YouTube, and then to let other people know about it by posting its address on your website and websites of your partners. A funny clip on Facebook can become viral, if interested persons publish it on their wall, recommend watching it to their friends, and they recommend it to their friends, etc.

It is also a good idea to take a clip of an empty venue before the event. During the event, film the visitors gathering and later make a clip of the packed venue; later, put all three shots into a single video and you will get an impressive view. Contrasts leave a truly unforgettable impression.

Even the most spectacular events require experienced specialists though. Contact the professional team of producers, operators and reporters of Penki TV, who will take care of everything: identify the main idea and goals of the event, suggest a scenario for the introductory video and make it. Reporters in the studio will interview the organizers, give advice on ways to address the future audience and aspects that require the most focus. The recorded material will be edited in a TV studio and complemented with animation and graphics.

Therefore, whatever your event is - be it a sports festival for a town or major international conference - services offered by Penki TV will meet the needs and requirements of the most demanding customer.
