Moldova hosted the annual banking technology conference

This December, UAB “Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos” (BS/2) and its long-standing partner “DAAC System Integrator” together with a concern “Wincor Nixdorf” organized a conference “Future Technology Today: New Perspectives in the Banking Sector” held in the Moldovan capital Kishinev. This year, the event was attended by representatives of 14 largest banks of the country working in the areas of information technology, payment cards and retail banking. This was the second forum in Moldova organized by BS/2 and its partners.

During the conference, the most relevant aspects of banking technology sector and effective practical solutions that help develop the Moldovan banking market were presented and overviewed.

“In 2011, more than one million bank cards were used in Moldova, while in 2012, their number increased by 11 percent. The largest Italian, French, German banks already operate in this country and the market is growing at staggering rates. We view new perspectives of cooperation with the partners in this rapidly developing market highly positively and are ready to offer the customers our services”, said Regional Sales Manager of BS/2 Nikolaj Zaleščuk.

Conference participants and guests were particularly interested in such products of BS/2 as the solution “ATMeye.iQ”, which not only ensures the security of self-service devices, but also helps to reduce the risk of crime and vandalism. At the conference, specialists of the banking sector had the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of “ATMeye.iQ” and take a closer look at the “.iQ” family products: “Service Desk.iQ”, “Payments.iQ”, “SmartSafe.iQ”, “Brancheye.iQ”, “CashLogistics.iQ” and other solutions developed by the company.   

At the final reception, participants and partners thanked the conference organizers for an excellent preparation for the event. Most of the participants viewed the conference as an informative and landmark event. According to the guests, such specialized events are very useful for banks wishing to strengthen their position in the market and keep up with the constantly evolving technology.
