Penki Kontinentai Group participated in the International Banking Forum IBF 2025

Published: 3 December 2025 y., Wednesday

On 19–20 November, the ninth International Banking Forum IBF 2025 was held in Baku. Organized with the support of Mastercard, the event brought together more than 1500 participants, 270 companies, and representatives of the banking sector, fintech industry, regulators, and international organizations. BS/2 (part of Penki Kontinentai Group) once again joined the forum as a premium partner, presenting its vision for the development of self-service channels alongside key technological solutions that reflect the current trends of digital transformation in the region.

During the presentation by Dmytro Kovalenko, Head of Market Development for BS/2 in Georgia and Azerbaijan, the main factors shaping the evolution of banking ecosystems in Azerbaijan and Georgia were highlighted. These included the rapid expansion of digital channels and mobile services, the growth of electronic sales and instant payment systems, the increasing number of disputed transactions and the need for real-time dispute resolution tools, the advancement of open APIs, strengthening user trust in digital services, and the rising requirements for cybersecurity. Special attention was given to the updated Payments.iQ NG platform as an important element of BS/2’s new digital architecture.

The updated Payments.iQ NG platform was one of the central solutions showcased by BS/2 at the forum. The new release brings together the company’s core technological directions into a unified digital architecture built on three entirely new modules. FlexFlow.iQ provides banks with tools to design and adapt digital services without programming and enables centralized scenario management across channels. PulseAI.iQ automates incident and dispute handling using machine learning technologies, accelerating processes and enhancing service quality. Crypto.iQ allows banks to securely connect ATMs to licensed crypto providers and perform digital asset transactions without hardware modifications or the need for additional licensing. The platform is complemented by QR-Pay, Cash-in by Mobile Number, MobileControl.iQ, FaceRecognition.iQ, and FCX, all integrated via DsCenter.iQ to form a scalable digital infrastructure for the development of self-service networks.

A representative of the Penki kontinentai Group company ASHBURN International presented a wide range of SUNMI smart payment devices and software solutions designed to manage EFTPOS-terminal operations and expand their functionality at the forum.

At the BS/2 booth, solutions from key technology partners were also showcased, including Diebold Nixdorf, Julong, SUNMI, and Sargent & Greenleaf. The latter presented BS/2 with the award “Fastest Growing Distributor in the EMEA Region.”

At the invitation of BS/2, the forum was attended by partners from Georgia: Tsotne Shelegia (Basis Bank) and Giorgi Chkhikvadze (Bank of Georgia), accompanied by Emilio Kiris, Director of BS/2 Georgia. Among the guests was Mikheil Kapanadze, Head of the Open Banking Project at the Banking Association of Georgia. The delegation explored the capabilities of Payments.iQ NG, biometric solutions, and the FCX system, which are already being implemented in Georgia.

Participation in IBF 2025 became the final major event of the year for BS/2 and reaffirmed the strong interest of the banking sector in the company’s solutions. As 2025 draws to a close, Penki Kontinentai Group continues to strengthen its presence in key markets and support financial institutions in building a modern digital infrastructure.
