Profit and revenue of “Penki kontinentai” group of companies continue to grow

Last year, the consolidated annual revenues of Penki kontinentai group of companies increased by 20.7% and totalled 153.31 million litas (44.4 million euro). In 2013, this figure was 127.02 million litas (36.8 million euro).

In 2014, the Group’s unaudited net profit increased by 21.6% and reached 7.55 million litas (2.18 million euro), while in 2013, the Group’s unaudited net profit was 6.23 million litas (1.80 million euro).

According to the Chairman of the Board of Penki kontinentai group of companies Idrakas Dadašovas, the significant growth in both profit and revenue is the result of successful work of the Group, its subsidiaries and partners in Central Asia, Eastern Europe and the Baltic States as well as numerous investments into business development.

The Group intends to invest over 28 million litas (8.1 million euro) in 2014 and 2015.

Last year, the funds were committed to creation and development of automobile solutions, software and innovative payment solutions, expanding of the fiber-optic Internet network Skynet, Smart TV and on-demand IT services ProfIT, as well as installation of the real estate project Loft Town and Smart House intellectual home systems.

The Group consists of twenty-one companies. The main companies are: UAB Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2), UAB Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras, UAB ASHBURN International, and UAB Skaitmeninio sertifikavimo centras. To date, the Group has been an active participant of the banking, retail and ICT sectors for more than twenty years, selling its products and services to 69 countries around the world. In addition, it holds a leading position in the banking technology sectors of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, and the Baltic States.
