SPORT1 In HD Quality Is Available for All Penki Viewers

We are pleased to inform all sports fans that from January 2021 Penki TV rebroadcasts the Lithuanian sports TV channel SPORT1 in the basic package not in SD, but in HD quality.

“We put customer loyalty above all else. Considering the requests, we are constantly updating the channels. Before, SPORT1 in HD format was available only at an extra cost. Now all sports fans will be able to enjoy high-quality broadcasts, as well as repeatedly watch the most impressive moments of competitions or matches,” Head of Penki TV Projects Natalija Dmitrijeva says.

According to her, the recordings of the broadcasts are stored in the archive for 2 weeks. It allows fans not to miss important competitions and enjoy the goals as many times as they want. Penki viewers have already appreciated the recently updated quality of recording of TV archives.

SPORT1 TV program consists of live broadcasts, sports news, and competent commentary. The 24-hour channel allows fans to visit the most famous arenas and stadiums.

Real winter has come to Lithuania, and the number of broadcasts of winter competitions on the SPORT1 channel has increased. Sports fans can share with athletes the joy of victories in the IBSF World Championship, European Speed ​​Skating Championship, FIS Cross-Country World Cup, etc.

SPORT1 channel pays special attention to Lithuanian athletes. In January and February, you can watch the Lithuanian Handball Cup, the International Swimming League with Danas Rapšis, the Athletics Continental Tour with Andrius Gudžius, the World Pentathlon Cup with Olympic champion Laura Asadauskaitė, the Spanish Basketball League "Endesa" with Šarūnas Jasikevičius, VTB United Basketball League with Mantas Kalnietis and other famous basketball players of our country.

Martial arts fans will be amazed at the variety of fights streamed on SPORT1, from KOK Bushido to ONE Championship.

Mixed martial arts have been popular for decades, and every year they attract more and more viewers to TV screens.
