Last week, the fourth two-day conference tourism exhibition and meetings fair CONVENE 2016 held in Vilnius came to an end. For the second consecutive year, a company Penkių Kontinentų Komunikacijų Centras was among the participants; the company introduced its ProfIT IT outsourcing services and their possibilities to the HoReCa (hotel, restaurant and catering) sector.

The company’s specialists provided more information on Wi-Fi solutions for hotels and conference centers. According to Mantas Vedrickas, Head of Business Client Solutions of Penkių Kontinentų Komunikacijų Centras, advanced technological solutions help businesses to remain competitive and attract more customers. “Modern hotels today are unimaginable without a high-quality Wi-Fi connection available throughout the premises and accessible using any smart device. This is also important for various conferences, where attendees must be provided with smooth Internet connection for browsing or checking their e-mail in any part of the hotel. Our technologically advanced Wi-Fi solutions are also useful in meeting the need for high network loads”, says M. Vedrickas.

The company’s stand offered thorough information on cloud technology solutions, maintenance of computerized workplaces, system and network administration. The specialists also provided information on direct broadcasting services for various events and gave examples of successfully implemented projects. Visitors of the exhibition had the opportunity to see for themselves how the service works: Penkių Kontinentų Komunikacijų Centras ensured live broadcast of the Education Programme of CONVENE 2016. It could be accessed on www.convene.lt and www.scena.lt websites. According to M. Vedrickas, such services are highly attractive when organizing international events held in several cities or countries, where it is impossible to welcome all visitors, in order to reach out to largest possible audience.

CONVENE 2016 brought together more than 700 professionals in the conference business under the same roof. There were over 160 potential foreign clients interested in the opportunities for hosting international events in Lithuania and Baltic region attending the exhibition.
